Remodeling of a municipal facility in Tigard, Oregon. Completed plans call for the remodel of a municipal facility.

First-tier subcontractors, furnishing labor, or labor and materials, in connection with the contract and whose contract value is equal to or greater than 5 percent of the total project bid, or $15,000, whichever is larger, must be disclosed by the Bidder. Briefly, the work for this project shall be executed under a single general construction contract for the SDIS Tigard SDAO Office Remodel Hampton, Tigard, Oregon 97301. The conference is held for the benefit of the bidders. The site will be made available for bidders to review existing conditions. Office remodel consisting of two phases. Phase I first floor remodel to create a conference room, work room, and break room. Second floor creates a new conference room and divides the upper floor into two separate suites. Both phases include updates of finishes and accessibility upgrades. No bid will be received or considered unless the Bid contains a statement by the bidder certifying, as part the bid, compliance with the provisions required by ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 (Prevailing Wage Rate). Pursuant to ORS 279C.365 Requirements for Public Improvement advertisements, no bid for a construction contract shall be received or considered by the public contracting agency unless the bidder is registered with the Construction Contractors Board or licensed by the State of Oregon Contractors Board as required by ORS 701.021. No bid will be received or considered by the Owner unless the bid contains a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident bidder, as defined in ORS 279A.120. ORS 279A.120 states Add a percent increase to the bid of a nonresident bidder equal to the percent, if any, of the preference given to the bidder in the state in which the bidder resides. A resident bidder is defined as a bidder that has paid unemployment taxes or income taxes in Oregon during the 12 calendar months immediately preceding submission of the bid, has a business address in this state and has stated in the bid that they are a resident bidder. Prequalification of bidders is neither required nor desired by the Owner. Bids sent by mail should be forwarded by certified mail, return receipt requested, address to the Architect as shown above, in care of Jessica Schultens, and likewise shall be clearly marked or endorsed as stated herein. Bids sent by electronic mail shall be directed to jessica@andersonshirley.com with the subject line SDIS TIGARD SDAO OFFICE REMODEL. Bids received after the time established for receipt of bids will not be considered. Bids may be withdrawn or modified in writing at any time prior to bid opening, following the guidelines established in the instructions to Bidders. Pursuant to ORS 279C.395, the Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part, not in compliance with all prescribed bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the Owner it is in their interest to do so, to waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights, and to postpone the award of the work as necessary for a period of time not to extend beyond thirty (30) days from the bid opening date. Bid prices quoted shall remain firm for a period of thirty (30) days from date of bid opening.
