Work to Be Done: Work generally consists of approximately 320 linear feet of CIPP storm sewer lining to include, but not limited to: - Storm Sewer Improvements - CIPP Main Lining - 5" P.C. Concrete Sidewalk - Temporary Traffic Control - Seeding - Erosion Control Items Site Directions: The intersection of Bel Aire Drive and North 20th Street continuing southwest to 4th Avenue North in the City of Denison, IA. The work shall be completed as follows: All work shall be substantially completed within 15 working days once commenced. All work shall be completed by May 23, 2025. Work is allowed in Calendar Year 2024, but if work is commenced in 2024 the project shall be substantially completed by November 22, 2024. Bid security shall be provided in the form of a cashier's check or certified check drawn on a state chartered or federally chartered bank, or a certified share draft drawn on a state chartered or federally chartered credit union, or a bid bond of a reputable bonding company authorized to do business in the State of Iowa in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. The bid security shall be included in a separate sealed envelope, plainly marked "bid bond". The bid security shall be forfeited as liquidated damages if the successful bidder fails proper execution of the contract documents. Question Deadline 09/19/2024 The successful bidder must execute performance and payment bonds, each in an amount equal to one hundred (100%) percent of the contract amount to ensure a timely, efficient, and complete performance. The bonds shall be issued from a reputable bonding company authorized to do business in the State of Iowa. Liquidated damages will be assessed the contractor in the amount of five hundred dollars ($500.00) per working day that the work remains uncompleted after the end of the contract period with due allowances for extensions due to conditions beyond the control of the contractor.
