Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a water / sewer project in Watertown, New York. Completed plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project; for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Project includes the expansion of the existing women's locker room, demolition of the existing generator and relocation of the new generator outside the Control Building at the Watertown WPCP. This bid will encompass the following contracts: contract 1 - general, contract 2 - electrical, contract 3 - HVAC and contract 4 - plumbing General - $300,000 - $330,000 Electrical - $500,000 - $550,000 HVAC - $60,000 - $75,000 Plumbing - $40,000 - $50,000 A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check, bank money order, or a Bid Bond (on the form included in the Bidding Documents) issued by a surety meeting the requirements of paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. No Bidder may withdraw its Bid within 30 days after the date of the Bid opening. The successful Bidder must furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond with a surety company satisfactory to the City of Watertown and conforming to the prerequisite requirements of Article 6 of the General Conditions on the forms included in the Bidding Documents. Doc Note - Bidding Documents may be viewed and bid packages may be purchased/downloaded from the designated website by prospective bidders. Prospective Bidders must register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Question Deadline 09/27/2024 Technical questions shall be submitted in writing via email to Ariel Judd at ariel.judd@ghd.com. The subject heading for all e-mails shall be Watertown WPCP Women's Locker Room and Emergency Generator Relocation. No response may be given to questions received less than nine calendar days before the Bid opening date. The City of Watertown reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all Bids.
