Interested contractors will obtain the bidding packet if they are a qualified bidder the first of November. the City of Rock Springs, Wyoming is accepting Statements of Prequalification from prospective General Contractors for construction of the Rock Springs Solar Drying Facility (RSSDF) Project. The RSSDF Project consists of the installation of the concrete foundationfor a solar drying building (the building will be supplied and installed bythe equipment supplier, Huber), solar drying equipment (equipment being supplied by Huber), control building, electrical and mechanical equipment, SCADA, utility piping, site grading, unloading and loading stationand other associated items. The Project is located at the WastewaterTreatment Facility The contractor prequalification criteria will include experience with otherprojects of a similar nature, experience of identified specialty subcontractors, professional qualifications, past performance, proposed staff, ability to meet the project schedule, qualification of proposed supervisors,technical solutions proposed, and information the City may obtain fromcontractor supplied references. The City will issuean Invitation to Bid in early November 2024. Only firms submitting acomplete Prequalification Packet and judged by the City of Rock Springs,after review of submitted materials, to be duly qualified to construct theProject, will be invited to Bid. The decision of the City of Rock Springsregarding the qualification status of any submitting firm will be final. The City will make prequalification determinations no later than October21st, 2024, and issue bid packages in early November, 2024. Scope Facility.
