**As of December 11, 2024 , this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The City of Peachtree City will be receiving separate sealed Bids for all material, labor and equipment for the "Lacrosse and Baseball Field Lighting Upgrade". This includes the following, with all related accessories as shown on the Construction Drawings and called for in the Contract Documents and Technical Specifications: Replace the existing field lights with LED lights at the two Lacrosse Fields, T-Ball Field, Field of Hope, Upper Baseball Quad, and Lower Baseball Quad. The existing light poles will remain with all new drivers, wiring, and fixtures. Some of the in-ground wiring and electrical components will be upgraded as well. Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of 5%, and shall be subject to the conditions provided in Section 00 21 13 "Instruction to Bidders." Each Bidder is required to submit a "Construction Contractors Qualification Statement", "Bid Security", "Bid Form", Non-Collusion Affidavit", and "Security and Immigration Compliance Affidavit" as outlined in Section 00 22 13 "Supplementary Instructions to Bidders." The project shall be Substantially Complete within 120 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed of the contract. Liquidated Damages shall be assessed in the amount of $250 per day for each calendar day required to achieve Substantial Completion. The project shall be Final Complete within 30 calendar days beyond Substantial Completion. The City of Peachtree City provides assurances to Bidder that all anticipated Federal, State, and Local Permits along with anticipated Rights of Way and Easements have been obtained or will be obtained by The Notice to Proceed date. The City of Peachtree City will not accept pre-bid project questions within a period of 120 hours prior to the advertised time for opening bids, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Peachtree City Legal Holidays. The City of Peachtree City will not issue or cause to be issued any addenda modifying the Project Manual or Construction Drawings within a period of 72 hours prior to the advertised time for opening bids, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Peachtree City Legal Holidays. Agreement will require a Payment Bond in the amount of 110%, and a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the project cost.
