The major work will consist of installing approximately 9,720 linear feet (LF) of two parallel 8 C900 DR-25 PVC force main (approximately a total of 19,440 LF of pipe). The above Improvements are a part of the Wright Farms Lift Station and Force Main Civil, Structural, and Electrical Construction Plans as prepared by Pape-Dawson Engineers. Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the District in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within seven (7) days after the date the Contractor is notified. QUALIFICATIONS OF BIDDERS To demonstrate Bidder's qualifications to perform work, Bidders shall submit written evidence such as financial data, previous experience, present commitments, and other such data as may be called for in this contract document with bid.
