Reference Number 0000277921 This Request for Qualifications is issued by NPC for the provision of attraction and leisure design consulting services. NPC is a self-financed agency of the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture & Sport. Operating costs for the organization are funded through visitation to the wide variety of natural attractions, restaurants, golf courses, shops and other facilities along a 56km stretch of the Niagara Parkway. The NPC covers 1325 hectares (3274 acres) extending along the entire length of the Niagara River. The properties include Falls attractions, golf courses, historic sites, a horticultural school, restaurants, administrative offices, police services building and a butterfly conservatory. The work to be completed under this RFQ will be limited to the NPCs jurisdiction and will include Services as described in Section 2.5. The NPC is committed to a vision of Ontarios Niagara Parks as one that preserves a rich heritage, conserves natural wonders and inspires people worldwide. Founded in 1885, the NPC is an Operational Enterprise Agency of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport. Its mission is to protect the natural and cultural heritage along the Niagara River for the enjoyment of visitors while maintaining self-sufficiency. The purpose of the VOR List is for NPC to have access to attraction and leisure design consulting firms that will provide assistance for various NPC projects.
