The work under this contract includes earthwork and grading, bridge and retaining wall construction, approach lighting with sequence flashing (ALSF) light bar station relocation and control system modifications, electrical cable removal and replacement, airport operation area fence and perimeter road construction, box culvert reconstruction, drainage improvements, erosion control, landscaping, intelligent transportation system (ITS) installation, traffic control and other miscellaneous work. The location of the services to be performed for this contract is the Elgin O'Hare Western Access (I-490) between Mile Post 1.0 and Mile Post 2.6 in DuPage County and Cook County, Illinois. The intended schedule is: 9:15 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. - Arrive and park at 108 Hamilton Lane in Bensenville on the north side of South Access Road (Meeting Site), see attached location map. 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. - Escorted walk-through at various locations within the project limits including Site 1 and Site 2 11:00 am - Conclusion of site walk-through and return to parking area.
