Village of Bensenville Addison Creek Storm Sewer Improvements Phase II A bid bond, certified check, bank draft or irrevocable letter of credit on a solvent bank, payable o the Village of Bensenville, or cash in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract sum as a security for the faithful performance of the Contract and also a Labor and Mechanical Payment Bond in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum as a security for the payment of all persons performing labor on the Project under the Contract and furnishing materials in connection of the Contract. The successful bidder shall also furnish a Certificate of Insurance. The Village of Bensenville reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to it, all in accordance with the standard specifications. Minorities and Women Owned Businesses (Mbe) Are Encouraged to Submit Bids on This Project.
