BACKGROUND The Town of Greenwich Purchasing Department, on behalf of the Building Construction and Maintenance Division of the Department of Public Works, is seeking bids for Septic, Sewer, and Pipe Repair Services. The Town of Greenwich Building Construction and Maintenance Division is looking for a specialist company that will provide a service to locate, pump out and dispose of sewage from the Town's septic tanks on an as needed basis. In addition, the contractor shall provide drain clearing, chain knocking, closed-circuit camera inspection, and pipe repair services (including potential pipe lining) on an as needed basis. The intention of this Request for Bid (RFB) is to establish a Service Agreement Contract with one (1) or more Contractors who will, upon request, provide the Town with the services, labor, and supplies described in the Specifications of this Request for Bid. There is no guarantee as to the amount of services, labor, or supplies that the Town may purchase during the term of the Service Agreement Contract. Each single project performed under this contract shall not exceed $35,000. The Service Agreement will have an anticipated initial term of one (1) year: December 1, 2024 November 30, 2025. In addition, there will be four (4) optional years that may be engaged through the mutual consent of both parties on an annual basis. At the request of the Town, the Contractor shall provide quotations for required services, based on the unit prices provided in the Reply Sheets. SPECIFICATIONS This service contract is to provide a service to locate, pump out and dispose of sewage from the Town's septic tanks listed below on an as needed basis. There is no guarantee as to the number of tanks to be cleaned in any single year. In addition, the contractor shall provide drain clearing, chain knocking, closed-circuit camera inspection, and pipe repair services (including potential pipe lining) on an as needed basis. The contractor must be available for emergency calls 24 hours day / 7 days a week and be able to respond to a service call within two (2) hours of receiving notice. The contractor must maintain a valid State of Connecticut Sanitation Waste Haulers License.
