Question Cut Off Date 9/25/2024 10:00:00 AM (CT) In order to ensure a fair and public bid process, all questions or clarifications related to this Request for Proposal shall be addressed in writing, via the Brazos Valley Online system. This contract shall become effective from date of acceptance and approval by BTU. It shall remain in full force and effect with firm fixed proposal prices for a period of twelve (12) months. Pole reinforcements will start after the completion of 100% of contracted pole inspections. Extension of Contract Upon completion of the term of the original contract and upon the mutual agreement of both parties, the original contract may be renewed for up to four (4) additional one (1) year periods [five (5) years total]. Contracts are extended upon mutual agreement of both Contractor and the City/BTU. The renewal will be under the same terms and conditions as the original contract; provided, however, that the unit prices proposed under the original contract may, by mutual agreement, be increased by no more than eight percent (8%) of the original contract price over the five (5) year period. In the event a new contract cannot be executed at the anniversary date of the original term or any renewal term, the contract may be renewed month-to-month until a new contract is executed.
