Board of Trustees of the Benton Public Library District will receive sealed bids for the Library's purchase of electronic signage to be placed on the Library District's property located at 502 South Main Street, Benton, Illinois. Said electronic signage will be 4 feet by 8 feet, visible from Main Street and customizable by the Library. Said sign is expected to need 40 amps single phase electrical service with 20 amps per face. Bids submitted should not include quotes for extending electric service to the sign. Any proposed bidder should contact the Library's Executive Director, Susan Stickel, with any questions prior to submitting a sealed bid. The successful bidder will be required to agree to and be bound by the Library's bid specifications and requirements for the sign. Bidders are welcome to submit multiple bids with varying specifications, so long as such bid meets the requirements of the Library District. The bid may be awarded to the lowest bidder whose bid is found to be in the best interests of the Library District. The District reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding and to review and study any and all bids and to make an award within fifteen (15) days after the bids have been opened and publicly read. ***Bid Event: name and address of the bidder on the outside of the envelope so as to keep the bid amount confidential until the time of opening. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the regular meeting of the Library District Board of Trustees at the Benton Public Library
