The entry/exiting scope will include the install of speed lane security gates, modifications to the existing exterior storefront and door, and the install of new card-based access control devices. Additional security modifications for this space will include the install of security films to new and existing glazing, the install of new ballistic glazing, the install of a new video surveillance components and the retrofit of an existing security desk with ballistic paneling, pass-thru drawers, and a speaker/microphone system. As this is an existing space, this project will also include the modification/restoration of existing finishes, mechanical systems and electrical/low-voltage systems. Purpose of Procurement Georgia State University (GSU, Using Agency), is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from firms interested in providing General Contractor (GC) services for the project known as Project No. 0084-005-25, Patton Hall, Access and Entry Upgrades at Georgia State University, Atlanta, Georgia. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks to identify the most qualified potential providers of the above-mentioned services. Firms determined by the Owner to be the most qualified for this project, will be invited to offer Competitive Sealed Bids for these services. All respondents to this RFQ are subject to instructions communicated in this document and additional terms and conditions listed in the Owners Request for Qualifications / Request for Competitive Sealed Bids (RFQ/RFP). GSU reserves the right to reject any or all statements of qualifications or proposals, and to waive technicalities and informalities at the discretion of GSU.
