Site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Innisfil, Ontario. Completed plans call for the addition of a 21,743-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; for the renovation of a 31,301-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The Simcoe County District School Board proposes to construct a 2,020 m2 (21,743 sq. ft.) single storey addition and a approximately 2,908 m2 (31,301 sq. ft.) renovation to Killarney Beach Public School located on 20th Sideroad in the Town of Innisfil. The project is scheduled to be tendered in winter 2025 with construction starting late spring/early summer 2025, to be substantially performed by June 2027. Invitations to Tender will be sent to successful pre-qualified General Contractors, and Mechanical and Electrical Sub-Contractors as a result of this request for contractor pre-qualification. Proposals shall be based upon CCDC 11 - 2019 as well as supplementary documentation to demonstrate managerial, safety, financial and bonding capabilities. Only General Contractors who have completed new elementary or secondary school buildings of a value not less than $8,000.000.00 and M&E sub-contractors with experience on similar sized projects will be considered.
