Renovation of a residential development in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

As of October 10, 2024, project received no bids. No definite date for the rebid. The contract will be financed with funds received by the County from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The County will require administration of a home improvement program. The object of this program is to provide rehabilitation to low/moderate income home owners who occupy the premises, with priority given to alleviating code deficiencies. o Design the program parameters within Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), CDBG and Office of Management and Budget (OMB) guidelines o Manage the application process for participants o Evaluate participant eligibility, including credit reports and counseling as needed o Participant selection o Administer financing for a tiered system of assistance based upon income, as this is a deferred payment grant/payable loan program o Inspect property for existence of lead-based paint, taking remediation measures as needed o Inspect and identify code deficiencies o Procure contractors to perform rehabilitation work per HUD and County procurement requirements o Provide pre-, during and post-construction supervision of contracts o Provide final inspection reports, including photographs, of all completed projects
