Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Farmingdale, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a communication facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Estimated Range: $776,556.60 - $1,050,635.40 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Work to include the removal of the existing asphalt for a large portion of the area around the building. Regrading areas, new site drainage system, extending the employee parking area and installing conduit for fiber-optic installation. The area will be repaved and line striped for parking. Pursuant to Public Building Law 8(6), any contracts over $5,000 for the work of construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, or improvement of any State building, a responsible and reliable NYS-certified Minority or Women-Owned Business Enterprise that submits a bid within ten percent of the lowest bid will be deemed the apparent low bidder provided that the bid is $1,628,283 or less (maximum amount has been adjusted for inflation effective January 1, 2024). If more than one responsible and reliable MWBE firm meets the requirements, the MWBE firm with lowest bid will be deemed the apparent low bidder.
