Purpose and Scope: The University of Tennessee Knoxville is seeking a vendor to provide an update to the automated chlorine system at UTK pools. The system should be updated to a high volume, low concentration system that requires infrequent maintenance e.g. less than once per 6 months. Due to the interconnectivity of the chlorine system and other pool systems and infrastructure we want the company managing the chlorine system to also manage and service the other pool systems. The initial term of contracts resulting from this solicitation will be from 11/1/2024 to 10/31/2025 Question Deadline 09/13/2024 Questions: Up to the deadline for questions, respondents may ask the Office of Procurement Services questions in writing via email The University will not hold a pre-proposal conference for this solicitation. Respondent's proposed cost must remain firm for a period of at least 120 days from the University's notice of intent to award. Contractor's License: Per T.C.A 62-6-119, any work over $25,000 affecting a University building system requires a Tennessee General Contractor's License. Thus, if a vendor's bid exceeds that amount, a copy of the valid Tennessee Contractor's License must be submitted with the bid as a separate document.
