The Georgia State Financing and Investment Commission (GSFIC), as Owner, on behalf the Technical College System of Georgia is seeking firms interested in providing Construction Manager/General Contractor Services for a project known as TCSG-420 New Health Sciences Building, Coastal Pines Technical College, Jesup, Georgia. Project Description: The new Health Sciences Building on the Jesup Campus of Coastal Pines Technical College will provide new space for all medical related programs on the campus. The building is expected to be approximately 33,000 sq ft and will include new space for the following programs: Associate of Science Nursing (RN), Practical Nursing, Nurse Aide, and Paramedicine. The building will include classrooms and labs for each program, a science lab and two general classrooms. Administrative space (faculty offices) and student break areas will also be included. The new facility will provide up-to-date technology and design in the labs that mimic what is in hospitals and medical facilities. Project Schedule The Design Professional's services are anticipated to begin in late fall 2024 with design complete in the third quarter of 2025. Construction is anticipated to start in the fourth quarter of 2025 and take approximately ten months.
