This scope of services is developed for bearing replacement and PM of a 150HP Reliance Electric motor. Motor Data: Frame: 445TS Voltage: 460V AC RPM: 3570 DE Bearing: 65BC03X30X26 ODE Bearing: 65BC03X30X26 UL Listed Service to Include: o Removal of motor from customers location (RDU Airport Fuel Facility 2800 John Brantley Blvd, Morrisville, NC 27560) o Replace bearings and perform PM as noted below o Re-UL Certification o Deliver motor to customers location o Reinstall and align motor PM to include: o Perform incoming tests and inspections, if applicable, as follows: o Nameplate checks against the purchase order o Measure and record insulation resistance o Measure and record axial endplay o Measure and record total indicated run out of the shaft extension o Measure and record coupling location o Measure and record air gap (if accessible) o Perform an overall visual inspection to identify missing broke or loose components o Disassemble the motor o Clean and inspect all components o Visually inspect coils, leads, connections and other winding components for degradation (overheating, looseness, fretting, etc.) o Perform mechanical inspections of rotor as follows: o Measure and record shaft run outs on all journals and on the rotor body o Inspect all welds and bolts for signs of cracking or looseness o Perform dimensional fit inspections on all critical components (bearing journals/thrust hub to shaft fit/coupling fit) o Measure and record all critical bearing and bearing housing dimensions o Inspect and test all accessory components as applicable o Perform incoming electrical testing as follows: o Insulation resistance o Winding resistance o Surge testing o Provide an as-found report with all discrepant conditions with recommendations for replacement and repair o Dynamically balance rotor o Machine Work - If needed will be quoted additional upon inspection and evaluation o Re-assemble the motor o Install new DE bearing [ TBD ] and new ODE bearing [ TBD ] o Perform final electrical test and mechanical inspections as follows: o Measure and record insulation resistance in accordance with IEEE 43 o Measure and record winding resistance o Measure and record polarization index (PI) in accordance with IEEE 43 o Measure and record axial endplay o Measure and record total indicated run out of the shaft extension, as accessible o Measure and record air gap (if accessible) o Perform no-load test run of the motor at full voltage monitoring: o Voltage o Bearing temperatures o Current o Casing vibration o Paint the motor in accordance with customer requirements Questions: Questions concerning the RFQ requirements must be submitted in writing via email no later than Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 2:00 pm.
