This project includes installing a new playground, safety surfacing, picnic areas, ADA pathways, a volleyball court, and minor grading for a new dog park. Also included in this bid package is the removal of the old playground, wood chips and rubber borders that are currently installed. Contractor will be responsible for designing, engineering, building, and installing the new playground and installations. Bids shall conform to and be responsive to the Contract Documents. Bids are required for the entire work described in the Contract Documents. The successful bidder must be licensed as required by law, and consistent with the Contract Documents, at the time the contract is awarded, which license shall be a current California Class B Contractor license or a combination of all specialty classifications that will be required for complete performance of all of the work in accordance with the Contract Documents, and if applicable, a joint venture license as defined in the Business and Professions Code, Section 7029. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Proposal Guarantee in the amount and form described in the Bid Package, in an amount not less than 10% of the amount of the bid, made payable to the order of the County of Inyo. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Faithful Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond on the forms provided in the Bid Package and in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount.
