Enterprises, Inc with an awarded amount of $ 194,220.70.** For the bid of Silsby Road Water Main Replacement a certified or cashiers check on a solvent bank made payable to the order of the City of University Heights, the amount shall be equal to ten percent (10%) of the amount bid Questions or inquiries should be directed to Brenda Mockbee at (440) 886-4500, ext. 116. No questions will be answered after 1 p.m. on September 24, 2024. The City of University Heights, reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in the bids received, and to accept any bid which it deems most favorable to the City The work embraced by this contract is located on Silsby Road and generally consists of, but is not limited to the following: Removal and replacement of an 8 water main and incidental items of work including temporary water bypass, remove and replace a hydrant, remove and replace water service connections, and roadway restoration and resurfacing (water main trench only) in accordance with the plan, details and specifications contained herein. The existing water main will be replaced with an 8 ductile iron cement lined CL 52 pipe.
