Overview: The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary for the refurbishment of two existing walk-in cooler/freezer combinations at the dining facility located at the 109th Airlift Wing at Stratton Air National Guard Base. The current state of the coolers is impacting their ability to maintain the necessary temperatures for food safety and the refurbishment of these coolers is necessary to ensure the continued operation of the dining facility, maintain food safety, and reduce energy costs. We are seeking quotes from qualified contractors to assess the current state of the coolers and develop a plan to bring both units back to a fully functional state. This will include an evaluation of the existing condensers and evaporators, roof membrane, freezer door heater, and any other components that may need to be replaced or repaired. Please note that the refurbishment work must be coordinated with the Dining Facility Superintendent in order to minimize the impact on the dining facility's operations Questions and quotes should be emailed to nicholas.bastiani.1@us.af.mil.
