The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is soliciting bids for a Contractor to provide open-ended, on-call, tractor mowing, trimming, and litter pickup along US 50/IS 595 (from PG County line to Oceanic drive), IS 97 (from IS 595 to Severn Run), MD 32 (from IS 97 to Howard County line), MD 3 (from PG County line to IS 97), MD 4 (from Calvert County line to PG County line) roadways under the purview of the Annapolis Maintenance Shop. Tractor mowing trimming and litter pickup is to be performed on all ramps and interchanges in the aforementioned areas. PROJECT DESCRIPTION This open-ended, on-call contract consist of median and roadside mowing, trimming and litter pickup at various locations along US 50/IS 595 (from PG county line to Oceanic drive), IS 97 (from IS 595 to Severn Run), MD 32 (from IS 97 to Howard County line), MD 3 (from PG County line to IS 97), MD 4 (from Calvert County line to PG county line) roadways under the purview of the Annapolis Maintenance Shop Question Deadline 09/18/2024 at 11:00 AM ET, All questions must be submitted to the Procurement Officer Royston Cain Any information regarding the requirements or the interpretation of any provision of the Contract Documents shall be requested, in writing, and delivered no later than this date and time. Responses to questions or inquiries having any material effect on the bids shall be made by written addenda sent to all prospective bidders via online. This is a non-exclusive Contract. It does not include all work expected to be performed in the designated areas. Therefore, at times, other Contractors may be performing similar work that is not associated with this Contract. This is a Small Business Reserve Procurement for which award will be limited to Certified Small Business vendors. Only vendors that meet the statutory requirements set forth in State Finance and Procurement Article Subsections 14-501 - 14-505, Annotated Code of Maryland, and who are registered with the Department of General Services Small Business Reserve Program are eligible for award of a contract.
