The Silver Knolls Mutual Water Company invites licensed, qualified contractors to submit bid proposals for the SKMWC Arsenic Mitigation Project, located at 11205 Bighorn Dr, Reno, NV. Question Deadline 09/24/2024 at 5:00 PM PT Questions pertaining to this project must be submitted to the designated email. The scope of work involves structural, architectural, concrete, electrical, mechanical and water improvements and all associated construction activities, etc. as shown on the project plans. The project is funded by the Nevada State Revolving Fund, and prevailing wages apply as described. The Engineer's Estimate for this project is $190,000 Payment and performance bonds equal to 100% of the contract amount will be required upon award of the contract, which is anticipated to be awarded on or about Friday, October 4, 2024. NVPWS #: NV0004021 The complete work is for the construction of the Arsenic Mitigation Project. The work includes but is not limited to, the demolition and remodeling of the existing building to accommodate a new water treatment system and appurtenances, installation of owner provided water treatment equipment, interconnecting piping and appurtenances including all civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation work required therein. All work must comply with State Revolving Fund (SRF) and Federal Requirements as laid out in Attachment 1. The Building Department has given conditional approval for this project, pending submittal of engineer reviewed truss calculations. The contractor is responsible for supplying trusses and submitting truss calculations to the engineer for review. Engineer approved truss calculations must be submitted to and approved by the Building Department before a building permit will be issued. Goods or Services Construction Equipment Services Supplies WBE Participation Goal 2% 1% 2% 1% MBE Participation Goal 2% 1% 1% 1% The DBE Participation Goals are not quotas - SRF will not penalize a borrower and their contractors if they cannot meet the goals. However, SRF will require a borrower and their contractors to make a good faith effort to meet these goals.
