As of November 21, 2024, this project is in the conceptual phase. An architect has not been selected. A firm timeline for construction has not been determined. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) is soliciting qualifications from architectural firms to provide design services for constructing a replacement elevator for Elevator #1 in the Red Mountain Building. The project will require an elevator to be constructed along the exterior wall of the Red Mountain Building that will be large enough. The design will require entrances into the building on floors 2-4 as well as an exterior entrance on the ground floor. The selected firm will be responsible for the design development, engineering, permit and construction documents, and construction administration. TMCC has engaged with HKA Elevator Consultants to provide the elevator specifications for the new elevator.
