The City of Pittsburg is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to conduct an audit of the City's 2019 Sewer System Management Plan (SSMP) and prepare an updated SSMP, as required by the California State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board) for the Statewide General Waste Discharge Requirements for Sanitary Sewer Systems (SSS WDR). The City's sanitary sewer system serves a population of approximately 77,000 in a 18 square mile service area. The sanitary sewer system facilities include approximately 161 miles of gravity sewers and two small pump stations. Wastewater is discharged into the Delta Diablo Sanitation District system for treatment and disposal. The City is responsible for maintaining the lower laterals. QUESTIONS. The City of Pittsburg reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any part thereof, or to accept any quote or any part thereof, or to waive any informality in any quote, whenever it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Pittsburg. The City of Pittsburg also reserves the right to reject the quote of any Proposer who has previously failed to perform adequately for the City of Pittsburg or any other governmental agency.
