Based on the localized flooding in the areas indicated in Appendix A as reported from prior storm events in the City over the years, perform drainage assessments at these locations. The assessments are meant to provide preliminary design and analysis that can be used as the basis for scoping more detailed final design scoping and for developing preliminary construction budgets for out-year capital budget requests. The assessment can be performed using the pipe networks, type and sizes as shown in GIS. Verification of mapping may be necessary in the field at key points. Field verification to add to the GIS data including video inspections, and dye testing to confirm missing segments and condition. This may be required where segments are not well defined. The storm frequency and precipitation rates used shall reflect what is shown in the City of Stamford's Storm Water Manual as noted on the City of Stamford's web site.
