Site work and paving for a road / highway in Columbus, Indiana. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project consists of the preparation of a traffic study to investigate the impacts of changing 25th Street from a 4-lane cross section to a 3-lane section from Washington Street to Central Avenue. The study area is a very narrow 4-lane section with the travel lanes ranging in width from 8.5' to 10'. Originally expanded as State Road 46 with high traffic volumes, it is now a local minor arterial and has substantially less traffic. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is official notification of needed professional services. This RFQ is being issued to solicit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from firms qualified to perform engineering work as contained in this request. A submittal does not guarantee the firm will be contracted to perform any services but only serves notice the firm desires to be considered.
