Renovation of a fire / police facility in Alexandria, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

2024 Building Renovations. No bidder may withdraw his Bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the Base Bid, and must be in the form of a of Bid Bond written by a surety or insurance company complying with R.S. 38:2218 C. The Bid Bond shall be in the favor of the Owner and shall be accompanied by appropriate power of attorney. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract amount, written by a surety or insurance company meeting the requirements noted in R.S. 38:2219 A. (1)(a), (b) and (c). The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. In accordance with R.S. 38:2212 (A) (1)(b), the provisions and requirements of this Section, and those stated in the Advertisement for Bids, and those required on the Bid Form shall not be considered as informalities and shall not be waived.
