Description

Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

The scope of this work includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: the supply of all labour, equipment, and materials necessary to completely replace the existing bridge structure with a new bridge structure. The work on this project shall consist of but not limited to: excavation; slope protection; environmental controls; asphalt excavation; cold plane and stockpile asphalt; stream containment; demolition and removal of existing structure; concrete formwork and accessories; concrete reinforcement; cast-in-place concrete; precast concrete structure installation; road work complete with asphalt paving; and all other ancillaries required to completely install the structure to the satisfaction of the Owner. The Contractor agrees to complete the work no later than 19 January 2025 for 2024/2025 Phase, and 27 June 2025 for Spring 2025 Phase.
