For the 2025 Sidewalk Repair Program Contract The City is seeking bids to perform curb and sidewalk repairs or replacements at various locations consistent with the City's Sidewalk Repair Program Questions Due Date: Oct 7th 2024, 4:00 PM EDT The Project and Contract are subject to certain special requirements. For example, as more specifically detailed in the Contract Documents, the successful bidder shall be required to assure protection against discrimination for employees, applicants for employment, and subcontractors on the grounds of actual or perceived race, color, sex, religion, ancestry, genetic information, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, familial status, marital status, age, mental or physical disability, use of guide or support animals and/or mechanical aids, and to make payment of certain minimum salaries and wages; and compliance with all requirements of the Steel Products Procurement Act. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and re-advertise if the best interest of the City will thereby be promoted. The City will determine who is the lowest responsible bidder upon the basis of the bids submitted. The lowest responsible bidder need not be the bidder submitting the lowest dollar amount. The City may consider the quality of services supplied, responsiveness of the bidder, past performance of the bidder, compatibility of the bidder's processes with other City services and the bidder's ability to handle the volume of work proposed. Further, consideration will be given to such matters as contractor integrity, compliance with public policy, record of past performance, and financial and technical resources. The City reserves the right to reject the bid of any bidder not possessing satisfactory qualifications.
