A tentative effective date of October 1, 2024, has been set for ALL solicitations to be submitted through Bonfire. Waterline Tap. The 12" tap called out in the plans shall be completed by City of Wichita and the cost for the City of Wichita to make the tap shall be covered by the project. Basis of Payment. Payment for the bid items will be as a lump sum/measured quantity amount based on the bid quantities and unit prices in the bid proposal. Working Days/Completion Date. The work on these projects shall be completed within 20 (twenty) working days from the date of beginning work for all projects and in accordance with the plans and Standard Specifications. Working days will be charged as provided for in the Standard Specifications once the work order is issued. The non-availability of material shall not prevent working days from being assessed. Start Date. The work order on these projects shall be issued 30 (thirty) calendar days after the date on which the contract for these projects has been awarded to the successful bidder. Attention All Bidders: a Bid Bond in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Total Bid or an Annual Bid Bond is Required Prior to Bid Opening. Documentation shall be video-recorded tape supplemented with 35mm or digital photographs. Neither videotape nor photographs shall be made from a moving vehicle. One (1) copy of the documentation package shall be provided to the Engineer prior to beginning construction on the project.
