Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, and supervision necessary for the construction of the Citywide Park Improvements Estimate: $2.2M Improvements to exisitng parks. 1) Spring Hill Park: 1.1) Clearing, grubbing, excavation, backfill, compaction for construction of asphalt trail. 1.2) Construction of new splash pad adjoining existing splad pad. 1.3) Construction of new pavilion and demolition of existing pavilion. 1.4) Drainage structures (culverts), site grading, hydromulch. 2) McWhorter Park: 2.1) Demolition of existing youth softball fields, backstops, sports field lighting, fencing, and concessions building. 2.2) Removal of trees, clearing and grubbing for new fencing and playing fields. 2.3) Dirtwork, excavation, backfill, compaction, grading, turf, and irrigation for new playing field in base bid; two additional smaller fields in alternate bids. 2.4) New site fencing and gates, new concrete sidewalk, modify existing water supply.
