Site work for a water / sewer project in Olympia, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Tamoshan Water and Sewer Infrastructure Rehabilitation and Replacement Project, CP #A511A and A053A Major work items include: replacement of water main and laterals, service connections to water main, connections to water meters (meter setters included), fire hydrants, water system distribution valving and appurtenances, and gravity sewer system. Work also includes rehabilitation of manholes, repairs at side sewer connections, rehabilitation of gravity sewer piping via cast-inplace pipe (CIPP) installation, and site restoration. Following Notice to Proceed, a suspension of work will be issued until April 2025. The Contractor shall begin work at a mutually agreed upon day in April 2025 as approved in writing following award. The project will be completed within 120 days. Cost estimate range: $2,500,000 to $3,000,000. SUBCONTRACTOR LISTING RCW 39.30.060. Each bidder must comply with RCW 39.30.060. Each bidder shall submit as part of the bid the names of the subcontractors performing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, structural steel installation and rebar installation work, with whom the bidder, if awarded, the contract, will subcontract. The bidder shall not list more than one subcontractor for each category of work identified, except when subcontractors vary with bid alternates, in which case the bidder must indicate which subcontractor will be used for which alternate. If no subcontractor is listed, the bidder acknowledges that it does not intend to use any subcontractor to perform those it ems of work. BID DEPOSIT. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent. (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. AWARD AND REJECTION OF BIDS. The contract for the public work shall be awarded to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest responsive bid. The Board of Thurston County Commissioners may waive informalities m the bidding, reject any or all bids for good cause, reject a bid not accompanied by any required bid deposit, republish the call for bids, revise or cancel the work, or require the work to be done in another way if the best interest of Thurston County is served.
