Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Cold Lake, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Alberta Forestry & Parks (AFP), Parks Division has a yearly program for replacing outhouse buildings in various parks throughout the North Region. We will be constructing 8 additional outhouses to be used at Cold Lake Provincial Park. Construction of up to 8 Outhouses: 1. Purchase all materials identified on the materials list (Attachment 2) for the manufacture of 8 outhouses. The contractor is responsible for providing all supplies for the building of the outhouses, including but not limited to, nails, fasteners, screws, anchor bolts, exterior grade brown paint for exterior doors. 2. 8 metal frames from the Slave Lake shop location will be supplied to the proponent. 3. Construction of 8 outhouses including wiring for interior and exterior lighting by a journeyman electrician. The contractor is required to supply the interior and exterior light fixtures which are to be LED and approved by AFP before purchase. 4. Supply and install polycarbonate PVC liner similar to the product known as “Clean 16” for the interior of 8 (eight) outhouses. 5. The contractor will follow all specifications set out in the supplied drawings and ensure the backing and strapping are placed according to AFP specifications. The contractor will install all door hardware, closures, grab bars and vents. The contractor is responsible for spraying the exterior doors, both sides, with a suitable exterior grade paint to match the exterior trim color. Building Inspections: Prior to the framing and electrical being covered by the interiror and exterior tin, the structures must be inspected by an Alberta Parks representative to make sure all aspects of the design have been followed 6. Closeout Documentation PROJECT LOCATION: Must be constructed on site at one of the following locations, Slave Lake Parks Shop Yard, Lac La Biche Parks Compound, Cold Lake Provincial Park Shop Yard. If the contractor decides not to build in the Cold Lake Shop Yard, the contractor will be responsible for all transportation costs of the buildings to Cold Lake.
