Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The proposed work includes:_Asphalt Pavement Resurfacing, curb and gutter replacement, paver sidewalk, streetscape features and Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 from the current version of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening A certified or cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal The City of Lake Saint Louis reserves the right to reject any or all bids. DBE Goal for this project is 9% No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project MODOT - Lake Saint Louis Boulevard Sidewalk Enhancement The general scope of the project is for the pavement rehabilitation and sidewalk improvements along Lake Saint Louis Boulevard from the new roundabout at Veteran's Memorial Parkway to the spillway, a distance of approximately 1,400 linear feet. The project will consist of the following design features: 1). Asphalt pavement rehabilitation; 2). Replacement of existing rolled curb and gutter with vertical curb and gutter; 3). New 6-foot sidewalk with paverband; 4). Bio-retention features; 5). Streetscape features along the corridor; 6). Decorative theme street lighting; 7). Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB) at two locations along corridor.
