Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cannon Ball, North Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; road / highway; and road / highway.

Separate sealed Bids for construction of "Cannon Ball School Parking Lot", will be received by Solen Public School District 3 The scope of Work consists of furnishing and installing the following approximate quantities: Major items include remove asphalt pavement 14,950 SF, remove sidewalks 2,900 SF. Install 4" concrete, 2,725 SF, Subgrade Preparation 1,950 SY, Class V Gravel 650 TON, 18" Storm Sewer 100 LF, and related items. Each Bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a Bidder's Bond in a sum equal to five percent of the full amount of the Bid, executed by the Bidder as principal and by a surety, conditioned that if the principal's Bid is accepted and the Contract awarded to the principal, the principal, within ten (10) days after notice of award, shall execute a Contract in accordance with terms of the Bid and a Contractor's Bond as required by law and the regulations and determinations of Solen Public School District 3. The Bidder must be licensed for the full amount of the Bid. No Bid may be read or considered if it does not fully comply with these requirements; any deficient Bid submitted shall be resealed and returned to the Bidder immediately. Bidders on this Work will be required to comply with Executive Orders No. 11246, as amended, 11458, 11518, and 11625. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors under these orders are explained in the Specifications. The construction of the Cannon Ball School Parking Lot shall be completed by November 8, 2024. All Bids will be made on the basis of cash payment for such Work. After Bid opening the Owner will return the Bid security of all except the three lowest responsible Bidders. When the Contract is awarded, the remaining unsuccessful Bidder's Bond will be returned. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or portions thereof, and further reserves the right to award the Contract in the best interests of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to hold the three low Bids for a period of sixty-one (61) days after the date of the Bid opening to complete financial arrangements. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Contact information and submittal procedures for such questions are as follows: A. Jason Petryszyn, Swenson Hagen & Co. 7.03 Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all registered plan holders. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
