Renovation of a municipal facility in Port Angeles, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Late bids will be returned unopened. Note: All Bids shall include a 5% Bid Bond on a form approved by Clallam County. Clallam County hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises as defined in Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 at 49 CFR Part 23 will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex in consideration for an award. Clallam County will determine the lowest responsible bidder in accordance with the terms of Clallam County Code Section 3.12.070 and reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor informalities in the process or to accept the bid, which in its estimation best serves the interests of Clallam County. Bidders on Washington State Dept. of Labor & Industries or federal debarment list are prohibited from bidding on this project. Construction Timeframe: 120 Calendar Days from Agreement Approval Owner and/or the Owners representative will be on site throughout the afternoon to answer questions and provide access for bidders. A bidder's absence will be considered as part of the Bidder responsibility criteria as set forth in the Specifications and Contract Documents. Scope- Maintenance replacement of chiller and (4) associated hydronic rumps. mechanical - - remove the hydronic heating/cooling system chiller and replace with new. this work includes removal of associated hydronic piping and replacement with new as indicated on plans for reconnection of new chiller to the hydronic system. - remove (3) end-suction hydronic pumps, (1) in-line hydronic pump and replace in kind. this work includes removal of sufficient associated hydronic piping and replacement with new as required for reconnection of new pumps to the hydronic system. controls - audit the hydronic heating/cooling controls. revise/add system points and devices as required for new chiller. revise trane tracer graphics and record drawing schedules & diagrams to reflect final controls system. electrical - remove the electrical connection for the existing chiller and remove conductors to source and remove sufficient homerun conduit for extension and reconnectto new. provide a new electrical disconnect, new conductors (routed in existing conduit) and new circuit drearer to match existing switchboard. - remove electrical connections for (4) hydronic pumps. remove sufficient wiring and provide new as required for reconnection of new pumps to electrical disconnects.
