Site work for a water / sewer project in Naperville, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The purpose of this project is to fully replace approximately 70 lead water services. The Lead Water Service Line Replacement Program is a multi-year initiative to replace all known lead water service lines in the City with copper water services. The start date for this project will not be earlier than April 15, 2025, unless approved by the Engineer. All work under this contract shall be complete by October 31, 2025 The qualified vendor shall supply labor, equipment, supplies and material associated with the 2025 Lead Water Service Replacement Program. The work consists of but not limited to full replacement of approximately 70 lead water services. New service installations include 1 %" copper between the water main and curb stop, and 1" copper between the curb stop and the meter inside the building or dwelling. Additionally, surface restoration items such as sidewalk, driveways, roadway patching and sodding. The breakdown of the 20% includes: 11% minority-owned businesses; 7% women-owned businesses; and 2% businesses owned by persons with a disability.
