Bids Shall Be Accompanied By A Bid Security In The Form Of A Bid Bond, Or A Certified Check, Cash, A Treasurer's Or Cashier's Check Issued By A Responsible Bank Or Trust Company, Payable To The Town Of Oxford. A Bid Bond Shall Be (A) In A Form Satisfactory To The Awarding Authority, (B) With A Surety Company Qualified To Do Business In The Commonwealth And Satisfactory To The Awarding Authority And (C) Conditioned Upon The Faithful Performance By The Principal Of The Agreements Contained In The Bid. The Amount Of The Bid Security Shall Be At Least Equal To 5% Of The Amount Of The Bid. All Bids For This Project Are Subject To Applicable Public Bidding Laws Of Massachusetts, Including, But Not Limited To, M.g.l. C.149, 44a - 44j, As Amended. Attention Is Directed To The Minimum Wage Rates To Be Paid As Determined By The Commissioner Of Labor And Workforce Development And The Weekly Payroll Record Submittal Requirements Under The Provisions Of Mgl C. 149, 26 Through 27d Inclusive. Bidders Are Required To Possess Division Of Capital Asset Management And Maintenance (Dcamm) Certification For Contracts In Excess Of One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000). No Bid May Be Withdrawn Within Thirty (30) Days (Saturdays, Sundays And Legal Holidays Excluded) After The Date Of Opening Thereof. The Town Of Oxford Reserves The Right To Waive Any Informality, To Accept Or Reject, In Whole Or In Part Any Or All Bids Received, And To Award The Contract To Any Of The Contractors Bidding On The Work Or Take Whatever Other Action May Be Deemed To Be In The Best Interest Of The Town.
