Site work for a civil project in Rootstown, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes the construction of a new 1,500,000-gallon composite elevated water tower, water main, and components for the operation of the water tower, and the demolition of an existing metal water storage standpipe. Any questions should be referred to Portage County Water Resources in writing to jandrassy@portageco.com and mmihalich@portageco.com no later than October 9th, 2024, at 2:30 PM The Owner intends and requires that the project be completed no later than seven hundred and thirty (730) calendar days after the "Notice to Proceed" is issued and complete restoration within sixty (60) days thereafter. The Bid Guarantee is conditioned to provide that if the Bid is accepted and awarded, the Bidder will enter into a contract with the County and will file a Performance Bond as required. The Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in the sum of 100 percent of the Contract price for the faithful performance of the Contract. The Portage County Commissioners reserve the right to waive any informality or to reject any and all bids.
