Renovation of an educational facility in Rootstown, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Bids will be received for: C & E Building Make-Up Air Unit Replacements Estimated Probable Cost of Construction Cost Base Bid $1,300,000 Bid Alternates $75,000 Total $1,375,000 The Bidder must include a Bid Guarantee and Contract Bond for 100% of the amount of his bid or a certified check in the amount of 10% of the total bid. See Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code (ORC). Prevailing Wages and Equal Opportunity requirements are applicable to this project. Bidders are required to be enrolled in, prior to submitting a bid, and be in good standing in a Drug-Free Workplace Program (DFWP) approved by the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (OWBC). This project is subject to the State of Ohio Encouraging Diversity, Growth, and Equity (EDGE) business Development Program. Bidders are required to submit with its Bid and with its Responsible Bidder Information Form, certain information about the certified EDGE Business Enterprise(s) participation on the project with the Bidder.
