Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Newfane, Vermont. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 3,832-square-foot, two-story above grade municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
1. This project consists of demolition, disposal, and required site work for the following property 393/397 Dover Road, Newfane, VT consisting of two buildings one is a twostore single unit detached residential dwelling, 2,056 sq. feet, with a basement; the other is a two-story former convenience store with 1,776 sq. feet of finished space, with a crawl space. 2. The location and other particulars are identified in the property lister card. (Appendix A). 3. All work on the project as a whole must be completed by 12/31/2024. 4. If additional time is required for any reason, including weather delays and delays caused by the community, the State, or FEMA, the Contractor must provide a written request for extension, which then must be approved by the Town of Newfane. The Town of Newfane is requesting proposals for the demolition and site stabilization of the property at 393/397 Dover Road in South Newfane. the property is being funded by a FEAAA Hazard Mitigation Grant and all work will need to comply with all standards set by FEAAA.
