Remove existing bridge deck boards and replace with town-supplied 3" x 10" White Oak. Bidder will be responsible for setting up detour signage during the work. Bidder must have prior covered bridge experience. Sealed bids plainly marked as "COVERED BRIDGE DECKING" will be received at the Newfane Town Office. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids as is in the best interest of the Town of Newfane. The equipment to install an Over-height warning device is required. One side of the road will have electrical connection installed, and the other side will be equipped with a solar panel. The town will install the device, but the parts should be supplied. The posts will be sourced locally. Sealed bids plainly marked as "COVERED BRIDGE WARNING DEVICE" will be received at the Newfane Town Office. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids as it is in the best interest of the Town of Newfane.
