Reference Number 0000278544 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/09/24 03:00:00 PM MDT Pricing Lump sum The NTPC is seeking proposals for design, manufacture, test and supply of eight (8) dual primary voltage (4160V/25kV) padmount distribution transformers of various kVA and secondary voltages to be delivered to the town of Fort Smith, NT. The town of Fort Smith is a town of 2,200 people located on the NT/AB boarder; it is accessible by all-weather road. The power used by the community is generated by the Taltson Hydro facility located 60kM to the northeast of the community. The current transmission voltage is 115kV stepped down to 4160V at the Fort Smith substation. There are 4 feeders that distribute the power to the community and surrounding area. Due to the current and expect load growth in the community NTPC has initiated a project to upgrade the distribution system voltage to 25kV. To have a proponent design, manufacture, test and supply eight (8) dual primary voltage (4160V/25kV) padmount distribution transformers of various kVA and secondary voltages to be delivered to the town of Fort Smith, NT.
