Saving Project...

Renovation of a power facility in Fort Smith, Northwest Territories. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.

The Northwest Territories Power Corporation (“NTPC”) is requesting Proposals from qualified bidders (“Proponents”) to upgrade the fuel system for our G4 unit in Fort Smith. The upgrade includes adding a day tank, addition of several mechanical components, addition of a fuel control panel, addition of a fuel cooler, electrical integration of the system to existing electrical infrastructure and commissioning of the fuel system. 1 Supply of the electrical panel and materials required for this installation. 2 Supply of mechanical parts required for the installation. .2.1 A fuel cooler will be provided by NTPC, not outlined in the drawings. This item does not need to be addressed in the RFP and will be discussed with the successful proponent. .3 Complete the installation and commissioning, with the support of NTPC Engineering, of the fuel system included in this RFP. 4 Disconnect existing fuel system and remove waste material from site. .5 Completion of NTPC Safety Orientation .6 Participate in daily tailboard meetings .7 Mobilize crew and tools to site for start date specified by NTPC Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
