The Work is located in Smithfield, NC at the CRWWTF site located at 1000 E. Huntly Street, Smithfield NC 27577. The Work consists of the following: 1. Installation and programming of a new SCADA fiber optic network and related communication interfaces for the CRWWTF. 2. Installation and programming of replacement/new PLC hardware, operator interface terminal (OIT) hardware, and appurtenances for the Plant Control System. This work shall include demolishing existing PLC panels and subpanels. 3. Installation and configuration of new radio equipment in PLCs as shown on the Process Control System Network Architecture Diagram. Provide HMI software configuration to monitor data in these PLCs from the Plant SCADA System. 4. Installation and programming new redundant network servers, network cabinets, network termination equipment, thin-client workstations, and associated appurtenances. 5. Provide new Human-Machine Interface (HMI) software and perform HMI software configuration using High Performance HMI. 6. Refer to Section 40 61 13 ñ Process Control System General Provisions for detailed descriptions of the Work. 7. Installation of a new ductbank for instrument signal. Bids will be received for a SINGLE prime Contract. Bids shall be on a LUMP SUM, with additive and deductive alternative bid items as indicated on the Bid Form. The Contract Times for the Work are set forth in the Agreement. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
