Delivered aggregate for stockpile at various locations for the Bristol District Interstate Maintenance Office. The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT"), is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish, deliver, and stockpile various types of aggregate on an as-needed basis at various locations throughout the Bristol District for the Interstate Maintenance Office. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: The contract will be for a period of one (1) year, with the start date determined at time of award (nonrenewable). Reminder to Bidders: This solicitation includes the requirement for the Bidder to submit a Small Business Subcontracting Plan (SBSP), Attachment C, with the electronic bid response in eVA. Bidders selecting "I Plan To Complete All Work" box must be certified as a small/micro business by the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity (DSBSD) by the due date of this solicitation to participate in the SWAM Program. The Commonwealth reserves the right to inspect bidder's physical facilities prior to award to satisfy questions regarding the bidder's capabilities. The Commonwealth further reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigations of, such bidder fails to satisfy the Commonwealth that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to provide the services and/or furnish the goods contemplated therein.
