Award: B&R for $244,814.25 The Aransas Pass Housing Authority will receive sealed bids for a single construction contract for Unit Make Readies, Aransas Pass, Texas. Bids are to include all work specified and/or shown in the Scope of Work SCOPE OF WORK: 1. Exterior and interior renovation of 14 residential housing units, one of them being ADA-compliant. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the Aransas Pass Housing Authority, US Government Bonds, or satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable surety (the BID BOND shall be from a Company which is on the U.S. Treasury Department List, as am approved Surety Company) in an amount equal to five (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds, workers compensation, general liability, automobile liability and Builder's Risk coverage. The bonds shall be from a Company which is on the U.S. Treasury Department List. Attention is called to the provisions for Equal Employment Opportunity as set forth in these documents. Attention is called to the fact that not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the specifications must be paid on this project. The Aransas Pass Housing Authority Reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days subsequent to the opening of bids without consent of the Aransas Pass Housing Authority.
