Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Utica, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

A. CONTRACT 1 - SITE WORK: Work of the Project includes the construction of site improvements at nine City Parks to meet Americans with Disability Act access requirements in the City of Utica, New York. Work will include new asphalt pavement, concrete ramps/walks and wheel chair accessible viewing areas, and handicapped parking spaces. Included will be access to spectator viewing areas, public restroom facilities and children's playground components. The work is more specifically described in the Instruction for Bidders and shown on the Contract Drawings. B. CONTRACT 2 - RESTROOM IMPROVEMENTS: Renovations to the public restroom facilities at three City parks to meet Americans with Disability Act access requirements and general upgrades. Work will include demolition and reconfiguration of some restrooms, new interior wall and floor finishes, replacement of fixtures and plumbing changes, as well as other improvements specified and shown on the Contract Drawings. C. Perform Work under a unit price contract with Owner. D. Work of these Contracts is identified on the Drawings and in the Bid Item Description pages of Section 01 22 17 Measurement and Payment 2024 Park ADA Access Improvements Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bids will be accepted only from Bidders who obtain Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office (via Avalon Plan Room) and are duly registered on the List of Bidders. Bidders shall submit proof of qualifications to perform the Work as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Issuance of the bid proposal was resolved by the Board of Contract and Supply on. The Board of Contract and Supply reserves the right to waive any formalities and to reject any and all bids. **Document Notes: A non-refundable fee made payable to Avalon Document Services will be required to obtain an electronic version of the Project Manual and Plan Sheets (Contract Documents).
